I know working with insurance companies can be confusing, so here is some information and tips.
Your cost per session is completely dependent on your specific insurance plan which designates if you have a copay, co-insurance and/or deductible that applies to mental health. If you'd like to know your cost per session before your first session, call your insurance company to ask what your 'outpatient mental health benefits' are. Be sure to ask if there is a difference between office visits and tele-health (virtual) and if I am in network.
